Interel was created in 1983 in Brussels with offices in Brussels, Antwerp,
Berlin, Prague
and Paris. The agency is now a leading communications consultancy focusing on the delivery
of expert Public Relations and Public Affairs services to a variety of clients in the
private as well as public sectors. Interel assists companies and organisations in
defining, anticipating and managing all aspects of their communication needs.

Public relations
Our consultants are highly experienced, international and multilingual and all have strong
sector expertise. They work in small, flexible teams centred on specialised knowledge or
competence areas. We offer in-depth knowledge of the Belgian market, including the
Brussels-based EU media. We also service our clients on other key European markets. We
pride ourselves on consistently delivering quality work to an outstanding list of clients.
Our objective is to maintain a position of leadership in specialist and strategic
communication advice. All the work we undertake for our clients has a clear and tangible

Public affairs
This has been a core service of the company ever since its inception in 1983. Our 20
dedicated Public Affairs consultants come from a wide variety of cultural, educational and
professional backgrounds. Between us we speak 11 languages and are trained in business,
law, science, government and the public sector, as well as having broader experience in
politics, journalism and communications.
Our Brussels headquarter places us close to the heart of EU and national decision making,
combining an international approach with a firm grounding in the Belgian market place.
Our clients include international companies, trade associations and non-for-profit
organisations requiring services at both a pan-European and national level. In addition to
the EU institutions, assignments cover national bodies in the EU's fifteen member states
and the accession countries, international organisations such as the WTO, WHO and the
OECD, pressure groups, and organised lobbies.
