The Frause Group Joins Blogosphere with Provocative Site
Leading Marketing, PR and Business Analysis Firm Stirs Compelling Dialogue

SEATTLE: The Frause Group announced today the launch of its company blog site, thefrausegroup.blogspot.com. The new site aims to serve as a catalyst and a neutral exchange forum for dialogue among the public relations, marketing and general business communities.

“We’re not looking for simple answers to tough questions,” said Bob Frause, president at The Frause Group. “Our firm has always encouraged open and candid discussion, both internally and with our clients. Through our blog, we hope to stimulate discussion of important industry topics and further a sense of transparency in the marketplace.”

Blogs have arguably forced the mainstream media to consider issues that may have otherwise been overlooked, such as the authenticity of a CBS News report earlier this year that raised questions about President Bush's service in the Vietnam War.

The Frause Group blog provides access to original information and thought-provoking discussion. The Seattle firm’s first posting asked bloggers to weigh in on the ethics of a public relations firm working for tobacco companies. Comments included a poignant account of losing a mother to lung cancer as well as one PR firm’s guidelines for ethically unclear situations. Current dialogue at the Frause site explores the ins and outs of lying, cheating, stealing, misleading and plagiarizing – while getting paid for doing it.

Earlier this month, White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan permitted the first blogger to attend a news briefing at the White House, marking a significant advancement and level of credibility for this new media communication channel.

“We’re excited to see what kinds of debate and insight our blog will cultivate. We hope to learn from this experience and think it will contribute to achieving the absolute best practice in our business.” added Frause.
