The Frause Group Takes Top
International Creative Award
SEATTLE:
Seattle public relations, marketing and business analysis firm The Frause Group
won gold in the 2005 Summit Creative Awards competition for its dimensional
direct-mail campaign for the Seattle office of Skanska U.S.A. Building, Inc. The
Summit Creative Awards program recognizes the accomplishments of
small-to-medium-sized marketing companies around the world.
“We’re excited to be recognized by the Summit Creative Awards program for our
multifaceted Skanska campaign,” said Bob Frause, president at The Frause Group.
“This award reflects our team’s innovative abilities and out-of-the-box
mentality, as well as Skanska’s commitment to differentiating itself within the
marketplace through creative marketing” he added.
The winning piece, featuring the new Multicare Health System facility in Tacoma,
Wash., is the latest in The Frause Group’s ongoing “Skanska Let’s You…” campaign
showcasing some of the general contractor’s high-profile projects in the Puget
Sound region. The Multicare card was recognized in the “Business-to-Business
Flat Single” category of direct-marketing program entries.
The Frause Group designed the 4-color Skanska mailers with an imbedded audio
chip that provides 10 seconds of customized sound once the card is opened. For
the Multicare mailer, an audible heartbeat helped to reinforce the card’s
tagline, “Skanska Let’s You Never Miss a Beat” for specialized construction of
the state-of-the-art healthcare facilities. The Frause Group won a bronze Summit
Creative Award in 2004 for the campaign’s first mailer, “Skanska Let’s You Hear
the Fat Lady Sing”, featuring Seattle’s new Marion Oliver McCaw Hall. The
campaign was created for 500 architects, property owners, developers, and other
key contacts in the regional real estate community.
Over the past 10 years, The Summit Creative Awards have recognized advertising
and public relations agencies, advertisers and in-house marketing departments,
video production and multimedia agencies, graphic designers and other allied
firms with annual billings of less than $20 million. Gold, silver, and bronze
awards are given to top entries from countries around the globe, including
Australia, Canada, China, Denmark, England, Germany, India, Ireland, Israel,
Italy, and New Zealand, among many others.
