TT&A's Website Finalist in International Flash Film Festival

Milan:, June 20th, 2005 – Recently online, TT&A’s new website (www.tta.it) is a finalist in the prestigious international Flash Film Festival, to be held in New York this July (http://www.flashforwardconference.com/finalists/). TT&A is Italy’s oldest, independent, full-service, public relations agency.

“We worked for months to build a site that truly reflects elements our communication philosophy: quality, clarity and simplicity", stated Patrick Trancu, CEO of TT&A. "We're thrilled to be a finalist at the New York Flash Film Festival, a competition of global reach and visibility that gathers some of the best work done around the world. It was teamwork that brought us here as well as our ability to select and integrate top notch consultants in our programs and activities".

The 14th annual Flash Film Festival, to be held at the New Yorker Hotel on July 7, selects the best websites in the world developed with Macromedia Flash technology. Four finalists compete for the coveted award in each of 16 categories: Application, Art, Cartoon, Commerce, Educational, Experimental, Game, Motion Graphics, Navigation, Original Sound, Story, Technical Merit, 3D, Typography, Video, and People’s Choice. On the jury, which first selected the finalists and will later choose the winners, are some of the greats of web design, including Guy Watson (managing director of Flash Guru Ltd.) and Jared Tarbell (the mastermind of Levitated.net).

TT&A’s website is one of the four finalists in the Navigation category, which recognizes excellence in user-friendliness and originality. The winning site in this category has to be functional and easy to use, but also esthetically pleasing and unique. The judges will rate three qualities, each with its own weighting in the final score: originality (40%), usability (40%), and esthetics (20%).

TT&A's new site, in Italian and English, was built by Libero Cavinato (www.liberonline.com) on the basis of a detailed brief put together by TT&A's entire staff. This is the second time Libero Cavinato has been a finalist at the Flash Film Festival, confirming his wealth of talent and high standards. "To reach the finals twice in two successive years is really a thrill for me," says libero Cavinato. "Being a finalist in New York puts me in the company of the best web designers in the world, which proves that the right synergy between the designer and the client can only deliver outstanding results."
