The
Frause Group Adds Technical Assistance Services to
Help Businesses Become More Sustainable
SEATTLE, USA: As gas prices rapidly increase and the
energy crisis has no end in sight, more and more Americans are recognizing and
are concerned with the impacts that businesses have on the environment.
With Seattle and Portland both recognized as two of the top five sustainable
cities in the U.S. by SustainLane, the competition is fierce among businesses to
be as appealing and “green” as possible. The Frause Group, a Seattle-based
public relations, marketing and business analysis firm, is now offering
technical assistance to help businesses do just that – become more sustainable.
This new service line reflects the firm’s focus on providing tangible,
results-focused consulting services.
Sustainability efforts have proven to yield a high return on investment for
companies, including decreases in employee turnover, the reduction of expenses,
increases in productivity and morale among employees, and higher profit margins.
Leading the effort for the firm is Josh Chaitin, an account supervisor at The
Frause Group.
“Sustainable business practices not only benefit the environment, but the
business’s bottom line,” says Chaitin. “Sustainable businesses gain loyal
customers, have reduced business costs, and are seen by consumers and investors
as socially responsible. This new service will guide a business every step of
the way towards sustainability.”
The Frause Group’s service line is offered in four packages:
Phase I – Assessment: The client’s current behavior is assessed for their
impacts to overall sustainability. The Frause Group will then work to create an
inventory of business practices (purchasing, transportation, office procedures
and the like) and assess those practices in terms of their impacts to society,
the environment, and an organization’s financial well-being.
Phase II – Analysis: The Frause Group will develop additional practices
based on industry research and benchmarking. The client’s practices will be
measured against similar organizations’, and specifically research practices of
those organizations that promote themselves as sustainable. Then, opportunities
to enhance current practices to make the company more sustainable will be
identified.
Phase III – Plan Development: After the research and benchmarking is
complete, a sustainability plan based on the findings will be created in
collaboration with the clients’ team. The plan will bring together the findings
in relationship to the goals and objectives of the firm. Recommendations for
final implementation will focus on each area or process within your
organization, and ROI estimates will be provided as a measurement tool.
Phase IV - Internal communication: The Frause Group will work with
companies to train and educate employees through hands-on training and written
materials that are detailed yet easy to follow. The Frause Group will also
develop tools that will allow company leaders and staff to measure and
continually improve the impacts of their sustainable practices.
