Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt Retains The Frause Group as PR Agency of Record

SEATTLE, USA: Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, the second largest law firm in Oregon, has named Pacific Northwest-based public relations firm The Frause Group as its agency of record.

Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt is a multi-service law firm in the Pacific Northwest with national reach. The firm has Oregon offices in Portland, Bend, and Salem, as well as offices in Seattle, Stevenson and Vancouver, Wash. and Washington, D.C.

The Frause Group was hired in February 2005 to handle its Seattle office public relations efforts and recently earned the firm-wide business.

According to Julie Zola, director of client relations and marketing at Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, The Frause Group was selected based on its strategic ability to help meet the law firm’s needs throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

“The Frause Group has earned a place as our public relations partner,” noted Zola. “Schwabe is growing quickly and our expansion requires us to work with a firm that can support our growth while strategically positioning us for the future. The fast-paced nature of a law firm of our size, and the complexity of the legal field in general, required a carefully thought-out partnership. The Frause Group effectively meets those needs.”

Led by executive vice president Erika Schmidt, The Frause Group team will support Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt with strategic public relations direction, and tactical implementation.

“Schwabe is an exceptional law firm and an ideal client,” noted Bob Frause, president of The Frause Group. “We believe in Schwabe’s values, support its practice group areas and find the firm’s management style exceptional. We also agree with the firm’s focus on hiring interesting and valuable talent, and appreciate the holistic and traditional way that Schwabe looks to public relations as a management function within the firm. We look forward to a long partnership.”
