International Appoints New Executive Team
PROI Worldwide HQ. (September 18, 2007) – The management board of
Public Relations Organisation International (PROI) has announced the appointment
of a new executive team. The team will be led by Bill Carlson as new president
of the 46 member group, which is the largest global partnership of independent
public relations firms, with combined 2006 fee income in excess of $230-million
USD. Carlson, who is also president of Florida-based Tucker/Hall, Inc., succeeds
Jean-Léopold Schuybroek, CEO of Belgian Interel Public Relations and Public
Affairs, and will serve as PROI president through 2009. In a separate
appointment, Jean Leopold Schuybroek was appointed PROI’s Chair of International
Development.

Carlson will be supported by the following newly appointed regional

vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa and also managing director of
fischerAppelt Kommunikation, GmbH in Hamburg, Germany; Bob D. Frause, APR,
Fellow PRSA, vice president of The Americas and also president and CEO of The
Frause Group located in Seattle, USA; Joanne Paquet, vice president of The
Americas as well as president of Enigma Communications Inc. in Montreal, Canada;
Alistair Nicholas, vice president of Asia-Pacific and also managing director of
AC Capital Strategic Public Relations in Beijing, China; as well as Sharif
Rangnekar, vice president of Asia-Pacific and director and CEO of Integral PR
Services Pvt Ltd. in New Delhi, India.
