What we collect and how we use it.
PROI may ask you to provide personally identifiable information, such as to complete industry surveys, register for certain areas of the Site, register for membership or events, or order a publication. When a visitor provides personally identifiable information to us, we use it to identify frequent visitors, fulfill orders, contact you when reasonably necessary improve the content of the Web Site and generally administer the Site.
We may disclose your personally identifiable information to our third-party vendors for the purpose of conducting surveys or storing data on behalf of PROI. We may also provide personally identifiable information, including, but not limited to your name, title company, address, city and state to a third party bonded mail house that processes mailings for PROI's clients. We will disclose your personally identifiable information if we reasonably believe we are required to do so by law regulation or other government authority or to prevent harm to yourself or others. In addition, we may transfer your personally identifiable information upon a merger, consolidation or other corporate reorganization in which PROI participates or to a purchaser of all or substantially all of PROI's assets.

PROI employs procedural and technological measures, consistent with the demands of customer service, reasonably designed to protect your personally identifiable information from loss or unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. PROI stores your personally identifiable information on secure computers to which only a small number of PROI's employees involved in the management of PROI have physical access. Where reasonably practical, PROI uses encryption, firewalls and other security technology to help prevent unauthorized access to your personally identifiable information.
