During the last twenty years the Polish economy has grown and developed in a very dynamic way. As a result the Polish economy is now the second among Europe’s fastest growing economies. The Polish economy is also the only one that has avoided the economic recession which has been and continues to be painful even for the strongest, and not only European, countries.

Located in the centre, or heart, of Europe, Poland has always been a link between the western and eastern part of the continent. Including markets in Central and Eastern Europe, a region which is an established and major trading partner of Poland, the European market totals 700 million consumers. However, Poland is not yet a member of the Euro zone and still has its own currency – the Polish zloty.
